Terms of service
Operational terms for New Frontier Bakery online ordering. Have counsel review and fill business identifiers (GSTIN, FSSAI license, registered address) before treating this as final. Last updated: 5 August 2026.
1. Agreement
By browsing our menu, creating an account, or placing an order with New Frontier Bakery, you agree to these terms and our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the online ordering service.
2. Orders and acceptance
- An order is an offer to purchase. We may decline or cancel for availability, delivery zone, pricing errors, allergen constraints, or suspected fraud, and will notify you when practical.
- Product images are illustrative. Fresh bakery items may vary slightly in appearance and weight within normal kitchen tolerances.
- Prep times are estimates. Peak hours, custom cakes, weather, and traffic can affect readiness and delivery.
- Online payment success does not guarantee fulfilment if we later cancel for the reasons above; refunds follow Section 6 and provider timelines.
3. Delivery and pickup
- Delivery is available only within zones we serve around Hazaribagh. You must provide an accurate address and a reachable mobile number.
- Delivery fees, if any, are shown at checkout. We may refuse orders outside serviceable areas.
- If nobody is available after reasonable delivery attempts, we may return the order to the bakery; redelivery or refund is at our discretion for perishable goods.
- Pickup orders must be collected within the window communicated at checkout.
- Delivery partners may request an OTP shown to you at dispatch. Sharing the OTP confirms handover.
4. Pricing, taxes, and payment
- Prices are in INR and generally include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Methods may include cash on delivery / pay at pickup (COD), full online payment, or a token advance for custom cakes, as offered at checkout.
- Online payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g. Razorpay). Chargebacks and refunds follow provider rules plus these terms.
- Display GSTIN on invoices once registered: replace this placeholder with your GSTIN before launch.
5. Custom / bespoke cakes
- Custom cakes usually require advance notice (often 24 hours or more, as shown on the commission form) and may require a token advance (commonly about 50%).
- Design references you upload are used only to fulfil your order. Final appearance may differ based on technique, ingredients, and food-safety constraints.
- Changes after kitchen confirmation may not be possible; additional charges may apply for approved changes.
- Cancellation of custom cakes with less than 48 hours' notice before the scheduled delivery/pickup may forfeit the token advance, because ingredients and labour are committed.
6. Cancellations, refunds & perishables
- Before prep starts — contact us promptly; we will try to cancel and refund online payments minus any non-recoverable fees.
- After prep / dispatch — perishable bakery goods generally cannot be returned. Refunds or remakes are considered case-by-case for quality issues reported promptly with photos.
- COD — if you refuse a correctly prepared order without a quality issue, we may decline future COD for your number/address.
- Token remainder — unpaid balance on token orders is due before or at delivery/pickup as agreed with staff.
7. Allergens & food safety
Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and other common allergens. Cross-contact may occur. Inform us of severe allergies in order notes; we cannot guarantee allergen-free preparation. Display your FSSAI license number here before launch.
8. Accounts & acceptable use
- Keep login credentials confidential and provide accurate contact details.
- Do not abuse the service (automated scraping, payment testing fraud, harassment of staff or riders).
- We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
9. Intellectual property
Site content, branding, and photography belong to New Frontier Bakery or licensors. Do not copy menus or media for commercial use without permission. Customer-supplied cake designs must not infringe third-party rights; you are responsible for the references you upload.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, delivery delays caused by events outside reasonable control, or outcomes arising from inaccurate addresses or unreachable phones.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hazaribagh, Jharkhand (or as counsel advises) shall have jurisdiction, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
